Types of stress are eustress, brought on by positive events and triumphs. Acute stress caused by daily pressure that induces negative affect such as headache, nausea and irritability. Massage therapy and acupuncture stimulates the body's own natural healing ability. An ethical massage therapist or acupuncturist will always refer clients to a qualified healthcare practitioner for issues that fall outside of their scope of practice.
